One of our special BEPS traditions is enjoying Halloween. We love seeing the excitement grow and the children's and their parent's creativity. This year it had to be different, but the tradition was kept alive.
In BEPS Primary School, the children enjoyed spending the morning completing some exciting Halloween activities with their spookily dressed classmates and teachers. They also had the chance to admire the amazing pumpkin competition and some even had the chance to dance.
The BEPS Secondary pumpkin flinging activity had to be brought forward by a day due to Covid restrictions. They were challenged to collaborate, to build a trebuchet from recycled materials such as an old wooden pallet, some washing line and nails. In two hours, their brilliant team work resulted in elegant designs, great enjoyment, and a winning throw of 12 metres.
