BEPS decided to choose the end of 2020 to celebrate the strengths of its community and, together, chart out our future. The engagement of the whole community – students, staff and parents in the process is very important to us.
'We are good friends' is equally a promise and a belief of the BEPS community. If anyone were to ask to see 'socialising in progress' at BEPS, I would point towards the playground. On the playground, children get to choose when, with whom, for how long they want to interact.
We have recently introduced a new concept to our Early Years children: "Loose parts play". Our teachers have been encouraging the children to use their imagination, playing with resources including cardboard boxes, wooden planks, branches, tires, pipes, and plastic guttering but also smaller items like buttons, shells, leaves, pebbles, coloured pompoms, and so on.
