Early Years Concert: The Brilliant Bug Ball

The children did great, and aside from all the knowledge they gained on the mini beasts topicπŸžπŸŒπŸπŸ¦‹ they developed their creative and social emotional skills, learning how to express themselves and different ideas through songs and dance πŸ‘―β€β™‚οΈ, imaginary play, how to take turns, collaborate, be aware of how they feel and overcome their emotions.
Some learnt that crying on a stage is ok, that big feelings arise when they are in front of so many pairs of eyes πŸ‘€and that they can go through all that in a safe space and be ok at the end of the day πŸ₯°.
Β
Some small treats awaited the children in the EY building after the show πŸ§ƒπŸ‡πŸ°, the very same as the minibeasts in the BEPS garden brought to their imaginary party.
This event also marked the Exit Point from our IEYC unit of learning: The Brilliant Bug Ball.

On Wednesday, we were very lucky to catch a break from all the rain and perform outside β›…οΈπŸŽ.
