At BEPS we believe homework is important. However, it also needs to be balanced as children need time to play and engage in other activities, either at home or in the local community.

If homework is completed well and on time, it helps children to consolidate their schoolwork. It enables you to see the progress your child is making and to actively support your child in their learning.

Homework is given:

  • To consolidate the learning that is taking place in school
  • To develop study skills such as: time management, independence etc.
  • To create a link between parents and school.

Apart from reading, no homework is given during the weekend or the holidays.
