Library

Children develop their reading skills at their individual levels during class learning time. Teachers will engage the children in a variety of text and books according to their level.

Research demonstrates the impact reading has on learning. It describes how someone who likes to engage in regular reading of any kind (fiction, non fiction, newspaper articles or on the internet etc.) will make improved progress in all areas of language: reading, writing, vocabulary development, comprehension and even grammar.

Therefore, to encourage our children to develop the pleasure of reading, once a week they visit our library with their class. At each visit, they choose books to take home to enjoy independently or with their parents.
