At BEPS we know it’s important to set aside time for outdoor play. In addition to our daily outdoor sessions on the playground or in our outdoor learning areas, the children in Early Years go to the woods every week for some fun hands-on outdoor learning activities. We believe that children who play outdoors are smarter, happier, more attentive, and less anxious.
Learning and playing in nature benefits the children intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. The teachers encourage and provide opportunities for the children to raise awareness of the natural environment whilst exploring the woods, rocks and bugs, or playing outdoor games with friends.
