We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Acquisition Teacher to join our language department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French as a second language and a deep understanding of language acquisition principles. The French Acquisition Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to students’ varying proficiency levels and learning styles. This individual will foster a supportive and immersive learning environment to facilitate students’ language acquisition and cultural understanding.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with language acquisition standards and objectives
  • Create engaging and interactive lesson materials, including activities, exercises, and multimedia resources
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their language development and encourage continuous improvement
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to accommodate diverse learning needs and preference
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate interdisciplinary projects and promote a holistic approach to language learning
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and administrators to address concerns, provide updates, and celebrate successes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Previous experience teaching French to learners of various ages and proficiency levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English
  • Familiarity with language teaching methodologies, such as communicative language teaching and task-based learning
