Wildlife Warrios

Recently, our Class 1 students organised a special cake sale to save the pangolin Honey Bun and her friends. The pangolin is an animal close to extinction that they have learnt about as part of their unit of Work ‘Animal Rescuers’. We raised an astounding 385 euros. The money will be transferred to REST (Rare and Endangered Species Trust) in Namibia. The children enjoyed the experience of serving and selling with Class 8. They also learnt that when you want to achieve something good for our planet, you have to take responsibility and work at it. They are the true Animal Rescuers. We are very proud of them!
